“We are so incredibly proud of #RiseJusticeLabs alum Nazeehah Khan, who founded the Restraining Orders Without Borders movement late last year and is now celebrating the successful and unanimous passage of her first bill.
This bill gives sexual and domestic violence survivors the right to restraining orders regardless of their residency status, regardless of the perpetrator’s residency status, regardless of the crime taking place in Hawaii or not, and provides access to restraining orders to minors and incapacitated persons who are otherwise unable to file themselves.
